Had window installation (11 total windows) they worked 8-5 and did an amazing job! Mind you sears manufactured the windows (which are so nice) and outsourced and installer who was the best and most detail oriented guys ever! Swift, clean, experienced, and professional. I am blessed to have gone with your services and financing! $100 a month cannot be beat! Warranty for life and can be transferred once if we sell! Major bonus points for them being energy saving! We will see how much we save monthly -it will probably cover our $100 monthly charge ! Yippeeeeee

I called Sears to replace a sliding glass door that was under warranty because of condensation and spoke to rep at least 10 times, Finally my husband was given the secret location to pick-up the door. Well, the door is not a door but just a piece of glass. Now what? I call Sears again, and am told oh, sorry you must of miss understood, we don't replace doors only glass. OK. I now need tech to come out. $100.00 dollars must be given up front for the service, and guess what, the tech has canceled twice now, and the cancellation occurs at the end of the 2 hour window for when he should be showing up to do the service. The reason? An emergency situation has occurred x 2. I asked if there are any other technician's and no there is only one tech in central Florida. Seriously? Now I must wait 5 to 7 business days for my $100 refund. Sears, we are soooo done with you! Goodbye!

Sears home improvement had one of their subs install tile in our house. This was to be part of our kitchen remodel through them. Uneven grout lines, toe kicks everywhere, broke plumbing pipes flooding kitchen, damaged stove and dishwasher, broke light fixture, beat up walls, baseboards and everything else in our house. Tile people even brought a child to our house. Now they want to try and make it right after We repeatedly called and emailed them during installation.And no We do not want your chipped and scratched up cabinets either.We are asking for our money back and for them to remove the tile, they want to say we signed a contract. See you in court for all you damaged in my house.Beware do not hire.

Contracted Sears Home Improvement to re-side my home. The job was scheduled to start May 9. The product was delivered and sat in my driveway uncovered until May 23. The project was delayed several times because of Ohio's rainy weather. It took 2 days to tear off old aluminum siding. That may have been because the little pickup truck was loaded several times and taken to the local recycling center. Very little had been done and I was scheduled to go out of town for 8 days. It was discovered right before I left on vacation that there were several areas that had rotted wood. The whole side of the garage needed replaced studs and all. After the workers contacted the Project Manager, it was determined that Sears does not replace any structural damage. I was told by the salesman that once the siding was removed and if any damage was found underneath that it would be covered. That was a lie. Te Project Manager said it wasn't and I am having to shell out another $2,500.00 to have this damage taken care of. It is a pretty good price for all the damage that was found, but I should have to pay any extra since the job was quoted for over $16,000.00. The man in charge of the crew is doing the work and I am paying him directly. I am having him submit a detailed invoice for the work in the hopes that I can get reimbursed for work that I was told would be covered! I am planning on calling Sear's Corporate Office, The Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I never had such a horrible experience with home improvement and I have had some experiences. I realize that rain is a major factor in getting the project completed, but come on. It might be about 1/2 complete????nI would not recommend Sears Home Improvement.

Zero stars. Signed a contract and paid a deposit for roof replacement in November 2016. It's now 5 months later, April 2017, and work has not yet begun. No one contacts me or calls back when I try contacting them to get my deposit back. I am going to file a complaint with the state attorney general's office and have our attorney get involved. It feels like a bunch of crooks are running Sears Home Services. Learn from my story and steer clear!
