I like the cemetery close to home I felt compelled to go in and pray for some reason and found two headstones with my name on it one of them is not dead yet how creepy is that.nIt has my exact name and middle initial but the person's 20 years older than me.
I know there is no one there, but I go to this beautiful place to think about them and my mom, I remember them because that is the door and the sacrifice of Jesus for all humanity, the door to eternity, the place where death no longer exists, because they have passed from death to life.n-----------------------------------------nThe Transfiguration - Matthew 17n17 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
I picked Rolling Oaks Cemetery when when I first went there, both with The American Legion Riders and The AMVETS Legion Riders for Wreaths across America.nThen being on The COP ( COMMUNITY OBSERVATION PATROL) Pslpd we were asked to patrol the area if we had the time...and we did.nnAs a little time went by I decided to talk to them of making arrangements for our final resting place for my wife and myself.nThe appreciation of Veterans and their families were extremely excellent so we decided to make this permanent.nnThank you,nBill and Sandra (Sassy) Kelley
My family was so fortunate to find this amazing final resting place for our fur babies. Andrew you were amazing, compassionate and professional, I would recommend highly to everyone, your whole staff were the best!! Rambo too! Wonderful tribute to my babies Red & Blue.
Burying a loved one is an overwhelming process and from the beginning Andrew and his crew were very accommodating. There were some issues with the stone/engraving which became stressful, but in the end Andrew made the situation right. Thank you, Andrew and crew, for helping throughout the process of a difficult time. I will be happy to recommend Rolling Oaks Cemetery in the future.
