We are from out of state and lost my mom who requested to be cremated. We could not find her urn that she bought a 1997 and Eric did his absolute best to track down what we thought was her urn. The day of her burial I found her actual urn in her apartment on the bookcase shelf notified Eric and he made every adjustment needed to lay her to rest peacefully with her respective urn. I would highly recommend this funeral home they are running like a well oiled machine and made us feel very comfortable from the second we walked in the front door

Michael was wonderful in helping us plan my mother in laws memorial. He was very intuitive and asked the right questions to get us the service we desired for that day. All the displays were thoughtfully and beautifully displayed for the family and friends attending. I cannot thank him enough for making it as stress free as possible and for his clear and precise communication.

The passing of my stepfather was sudden and helping my mom with the funeral arrangements was daunting. I had no clue where to begin but Jennifer Turner at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home was there for us every step of the way. She walked us through every option and planned every detail to perfection. Jennifer provided the ideal sendoff for our loved one. We are deeply grateful to Jennifer and the staff at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home for the compassion and kindness.

It’s hard passed through this moments, but it is comforting that the we can count with people that care for the moment that you passing through, at Dorsey funeral home a memorial garden not only give us time to decide what was the best selection for our love one and make us feel the caring the we are looking for the person that we love. My grandma passed away the end of August.nShe had already prepaid and planned for her funeral at Dorsey E. Earl Smith, Memory Gardens as that is where our whole family is buried. The staff at Dorsey was amazing. They went above and beyond for us and my family will be forever grateful to them for everything they did for us. Jennifer Turner is the absolute best! She figured out a way to get us everything we wanted, including using a family painting of Greece that my grandmother loved for her memorial cards. Mary Elizabeth also went above and beyond for us and we are so thankful! Not to mention the entire faculty was very clean and very maintained.
