Campbell Moving & Storage

No complaints here. Went in to get my truck weighed for a PCS to Eglin and these guys were very professional and helpful. Ill be going back to get the empty weight soon.

Bob Campbell’s employee EMAILED me TWO days before the move (scheduled two weeks in advance) to say I needed to pay the $10,450 bill before they would unload the truck. This was an insurance move from hurricane rebuild. Got Bob Campbell on the phone with the insurance company, a National company that you’ve All heard of regardless of the State you live in. Even though the agent assured him they would pay, but just couldn’t do it in 2 days, he said, “Sorry no.”nnIt’s Bob Campbell’s company. It was totally within his power to accept this arrangement and he did not.nnWe had to move as scheduled because my elderly father had given notice on his apartment; he had to move home.nnSo we reluctantly called to give them our credit card number so we could keep the move on track. THEY CANNOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS! It’s 2020. Dude can’t take credit cards. Seriously?!nnDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BOB CAMPBELL AND CAMPBELL MOVING AND STORAGE.

I highly recommend finding another company to move you (Military look out for move pro USA -they’ll hire this company to take their place). All the negative comments are 100% accurate. Almost all of our newer furniture arrived with scratches and marks all over or completely broken and they tried to say it was like that. They stated to me that “they say it’s all scratched to cover themselves”. They even marked things as broken that were never broken and arrived in the original condition. We were also told they hire people without a interview because they’re desperate. Which is probably why we had to walk them through packing our TVs (which were the some of the only things that arrived in perfect condition), otherwise they would have dropped it or not use the styrofoam. They also lost a lot of our expensive items as well and Bob (the owner) kept saying he would look into it and we had to continuously call him for any updates and have to remind him of what was missing and continuously ask to call the other family they moved to see if they had a few extra boxes. He never found it and told us “you’re fine the military will handle it”. He was a nightmare to deal with.nFor the delivery day, we were told different days that our stuff would arrive and it took us to call to find out they were set back another day (ended up being multiple days delayed). The movers were very nice, but only one of six actually had experience moving.

I got orders in December to move to Texas in January. We were scheduled for 3 days to pack and load a 4 bedroom house. Campbell sent a whole army and the house was packed and loaded onto trucks in one day. When I told the guys they had more time if they needed it, they insisted they would get it done in one day to give my family and me time to rest and prepare for our trip. My husband and I are both military, and between the two of us we have a combined 41 moves under our belts. This was by far the best experience we’ve had with a moving company. Jamar, Sean, Thomas, Tammy, Jeff, and John were amazing. They were positive, professional, thorough, and treated our items like they were their own. We live in Panama City, so even after drive time, packing, loading, etc, knowing they still had the long trip back to Fort Walton, they stayed upbeat the whole time.nnBob was also truly great to work with. After a confusing start to our move, due to the chaos of the holidays, Bob did everything in his power (like sending a whole army) to help us out. This company is seriously the one you want for whatever move you happen to have. The only complaint I have is that these guys won’t be the ones unloading our house when we get to Texas. 10/10 would use for every move ever if I could.

This is a great place to shop, whenever you need a few items and don't want to deal with the crowds at the Walmart or Target.
