Wife and I purchased a couple thousand dollars in furniture and it's honestly pretty decent. The delivery was also very efficient. The only issue I have is that we also purchased an 80.00 mattress pad and when we put went to put it on, the zipper broke. Went back to the store and the sales guy said he would have to speak with his uncle before he could resolve the issue. He said he would speak with him and call me on my cell , well, that never happened, he never called.nSo even though, we like our furniture purchase and there prompt delivery, I will have to take my future business elsewhere, because customer service is the heart of every business. He could have actually told me there was nothing he could do and I would have appreciated that response much more than no response at all.

We had bought floor model furniture a couch and rocking loveseat and the couch was broken when we got it. We called skippers and they were amazing. We waited a while but the owner was so pleasant and made sure to keep us up to date and we got that new couch delivered free or charge. I’d gladly go back.

They had some good stuff but their few pieces of real and mfd wood we’re priced higher than Ashley (a direct comparison...bed was cheaper here but whole set was priced higher). I commented on a. MDF set my daughter liked but said outloud that It wouldn’t last our multiple military moves and the sales guy got adversarial with me, at one point swearing right in front of my 11-yo daughter. I talked to him about the searing and then immediately took my business elsewhere. But found an incredible all-wood warehouse down the road for less (furniture outlet Florida). It’s to the owners: advise your sales associates that it is more effective to win business if they don’t swear at their customers, particularly around their children.

We bought a couch awhile back from skippers and it was an amazing buying experience we love our couch and even got the sale price on it though we came in a few days after the sale had ended, just went back and bought a mattress and a recliner, the customer service was excellent, didn't pressure us to spend any more than we had to spend and was very patient while we made our decision, we will definitely be going back to skippers for future furniture needs
