Consulate General of Guyana

I'm not sure who is running this place but they need to be removed and hire someone who can actually run a consulate. If you're try to call the phone goes straight to voicemail, it does not ring. If you all are in need of help please reach out to me. I'm willing to volunteer so that other can be service unlike myself. Please note I only gave 1 star because the system would not allow me to post without it. Oh and please don't Covid as the excuse as why phone are not being answered or no one at the office as this has been going on for several years now.

This place super unsafe and sketchy, they broke into my vehicle and stole a bunch of valuables right outside the consulate door, their security camera non functional which is another issue or it would have seen who came to the car but it’s in such a bad place in miami they literally have look outs waiting for you to pull up to rob you

I visited this office several times, and even called on the phone. The consulate is the most kind and helpful person.Answers all your questions and always explains things to you. I never had a problem. She came out of her office to the vehicle to do a finger print for a wheelchair person. The office may not be in the best location, but hey you get your stuff done.

Its not the best location or the best looking place but the people operating it are amazing. Very professional and selfless. I know its a horrible location but it gets the job done and its better than nothing. That building is private owned and is operated by volunteers so its not the people but our worthless guyanese officials.

Location is not the issue. Phone rep is always polite and helpful when answer phone previously to our visit.n10:16am. Website shows open at 10am. Currently 10:23am 3 calls left messages no call back. All 3 doors closed. No signs of any office reps. 3 hrs drive here. Not sure if they will even open today.SMH.
