Kane's Furniture - Ocala

My sales agent was John, He was patient and wonderful with me. He help me a lot during my shopping, such as matching furniture and look for better quality. He even reminded me about things that I forgot and was on my list. John is very responsible and lovely. If someone not sure about what to choose when go in there, so I highly recommend John to help and he will make your shopping easier.

Stephen Brown was the most helpful, patient and kind sales representative that I have ever dealt with. I felt free to call him anytime I had a question (which was often) and I never felt like I was a bother. The customer care people were great also. I’ve already recommended Stephen and Kane Furniture to lots of people!

Yolanda is terrific. She listens to what you are looking for and takes the time to show you a variety of items that fit what you are looking for. She also does her best to get the best pricing. Our furniture was delivered today and we are very pleased with the furniture and the men who brought in and set up the chairs and bedding.

UPDATE: Received a call from a customer service manager who was able to put the desk on a new ticket at the original price with the discount. Thank you for making this right. It is greatly appreciated.nnI will start out by saying that up until the recent incident, I really enjoyed our experience with Kane's. In my opinion the furniture is great and the salespeople are thoughtful and caring. We purchased a dining table, chairs, desks, a bookcase and a sectional. All of our furniture arrived in good condition and we are happy with what we have receivednnNow for the issue.nnI bought several pieces of furniture with cash on 8/8/20 from Kane's. Total of all furniture purchased was over $3000 which gave us an additional 20% off.nnA few of the pieces were not in stock including a desk, chair and hutch set for my daughter. The estimated delivery date was initially stated to be November of 2020. At this time we have received all of the furniture on the order except for my daughter's desk, chair and hutch. This date ended up getting pushed out to February of 2021.nnI told our salesperson to cancel the order and refund the money for the desk, hutch and chair because we could not wait that long. He cancelled the order and told us we would be refunded $171 because taking the pieces off the order resulted in us losing the 20% discount and only receiving 10%. I was never made aware of the fact that I would lose the discount on the whole order by removing these pieces.nnI asked that he put the furniture back on the order and was told that since the order had been cancelled I would need to pay $520 to buy the pieces on a new ticket since the old ticket could not be reopened.

We used Michael at the Ocala location. We settled on a bedroom set that was our 3rd choice because everything else was back ordered for months. We were supposed to receive our furniture today but when I called customer service they said the set was on back order and to call the store. I called the store and I spoke to a woman saying that Michael never actually set a delivery date. I ordered this furniture over a month ago and was assured over and over that we would receive our furniture on time. I got the answer, “Well, you’re not getting it today!”.nThere is a drop off of communication with this company amongst themselves and their customers. Now we have to start all over looking for furniture and all we have is a mattress in our new home.nI would not recommend Kane’s. We are left out to dry after taking thousands of dollars from us.
