FRAUDS- WILL SELL YOU USED FURNITURE AT NEW PRICES!!nVisited the local La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery on 2/28 in Pensacola and picked out recliner that we were told at first was $1079. When the salesperson Toni showed us the fabric on a chair that was available we really liked it and decided to purchase. The salesperson then pulled a bait and switch tactic and said she made a mistake and the chair is actually $1479. She knew she would get us at this point because we really wanted the chair. When the chair arrived it was not packaged in brand new packaging and when the delivery men placed it in our nursery the chair had obviously been used or was a floor model. It had dirt stains all over it and was very well used. The chair also did not have the power box in it so it was unusable. When they removed the chair it left oil all over our wood floor that we had to scrub to get out. La-z-boy called and they were unwilling to work with us on lowering the price for a used recliner or cleaning it. They said we can order a brand new that would take 6 months or give us a refund. THIS MEANS THEY ARE GOING TO TRY TO CON SOMEONE ELSE ON THIS CHAIR!! I will never spend my money with a La-z-boy store again, we were fraudulently sold a new chair and delivered a used chair with missing pieces. This is a poor excuse for a business, when I try to call Toni the salesperson they do not answer their phone either, I guess she is busy conning someone else out of their money.

Nice couches, absolutely terrible (non-existent) customer service. Can't get them to answer the phone or respond to messages. Ordered in September, still don't have my ottoman. Not sure I ever will at this point. I'm probably going to have to make the 2 hour round trip to get a status on my $500 order. I'd just buy online...

I guarantee whoever was working didn’t think we were actually going to make a purchase. We were not informed of any sale when a salesperson approached us. He didn’t make the process clear and wasted a lot of our time. Then he made a snide daddy comment when my father generously paid the 30% deposit. That was absolutely not his place as he has no clue what my family has endured. Then we waited over 12 weeks to actually receive the piece of furniture. The delivery actually arrived before the suggested time slot, which was great and it only took about five minutes for them to bring it in and assemble it. We buy La-Z-Boy because we want nice furniture that lasts. We are very happy to have our rocker/recliner loveseat.

Recliner chair and loveseat: $2550 My purchasing experience with this company was excellent, earning the one star. Problems arose AFTER the sale, earning the poor rating. Delivery was late to my home, scheduled at the latest by 5pm, it arrived after 8 pm with zero set up. The internal wingnuts were not loosened after shipping causing the internal mechanisms to not work properly. Delivery was in January, and immediately I discovered neither the loveseat nor chair reclined. I was mailed an extension lever for the chair only. Performance did not improve. The chair still would not recline. This store has ignored multiple calls since August, refusing to call me back or resolve the mechanical issue. I leave messages and they do not call back. Once they have your money, you are on your own! Family came to help me loosen the wingnuts only to discover the mechanisms still demand so much strength to operate the chairs’ recliner features are useless. I want to return these chairs for a brand that moves easily... my Lazy Boy chairs through the years functioned smoothly. These are unusable, with no recourse. UNACCEPTABLE!
