Just moved state to state for the second time in 4 months. After losing my new job unexpectedly Moving Mania was extremely understanding and discounted my move $100. They also stored me free for 30 days, movers were great, customer service on point. No complaints! Would definitely use again. Hopefully don't have to move for awhile though!

We moved from FL to Pennsylvania last week and hired the broker independence van lines to coordinate our move (DO NOT HIRE A BROKER). We lucked out as they contracted out our move to Moving Mania,inc. Phyllis called me the day before our move to let me know the time window that the movers would be arriving, who my foreman was and to call her if I needed anything beforehand (very sweet woman). Freddy the foreman arrived and did a thorough walk through of our inventory. He and his team rocked our move in 2 hours. We were charged exactly the price that we were initially quoted. We received an email when our belongings were on the way. It took our stuff 7 days to get to the destination, which is also very typical for a long haul move. Our delivery driver, Mousafa, was awesome and they unloaded our belongings in an hour and a half. He kept in communication with me when he ran a little behind on getting to our house. So thankful and grateful that they made this move an easy experience. Next time, just call them directly and DO NOT USE A BROKER!

I used moving mania to move from Lima, Ohio down to Riverview Florida. I received a call from Shawn and he explained the entire process after going through my stuff I had to take down. The movers showed up, we’re extremely efficient and courteous. My items arrived with no damage and the whole process went fantastic. Definitely recommend their services!

OH to CA - I didn’t want this review to be so long, but so much happened…Main point, just sell most of your things and buy new stuff – after six months, it is actually cheaper than going with this company. The only reason they get one start is because I cannot give them zero. I had called a 3rd party company who paired me with MM only two days before my move, so I was stuck with them (lesson #1, do not use a 3rd party broker). I read the reviews and thought, oh no…I had done a room by room walk through estimate with this company, but when MM showed up on moving day, the foreman walked through in about one minute and doubled my price! What am I supposed to do at this point? They know they have you. The foreman was rude, condescending, asking me personal questions, told me it was a bad decision to move to southern CA…My belongings were put into storage in OH until I had a delivery address. On 9/10, I requested my items be shipped to CA. They were delivered on 10/17, yup, 5 weeks later. Lesson #2, the fine print says they have 30 business days to deliver your items. During that 5 weeks, I was paying rent at my new apartment, plus the temp housing. I was told repeatedly that my items were being loaded, I was up next, the manager is out sick, it’s a Jewish holiday so they aren’t available, the driver is out sick, let me get back to you, excuse after excuse after excuse. Once my items did ship, the driver was 3 days late. He “miscalculated the time it would take to get to CA”. What? The night before they were supposed to deliver, they called and said the truck was broken down and they didn’t know when they could deliver. Upon delivery, some items were broken but my coffee table never showed up, one of the nicest items I own from Crate and Barrel, a gift I received for my birthday only a few months before my move. So now I have to go through the ridiculous claims process. A month later, they want to give me $50 for a $999 coffee table. I cannot even replace my coffee table for $50, and probably spent over $50 of my time just filing the claim. I think the facts speak for themselves.

I had a great ecperience and I would recommend Moving Mania to anyone who is considering a moving company. From start to finsh I was akways kept in the loop of every part of my move. The crew were very experienced I feel just by the way they were wrapping and handling the furniture I knew it was not their first time in the rodeo. I moved from Florida to Dallas Texas which is not an easy route but I always felt confident in where my things were because my calls were always answered. I recommend 10 out of 10!
