wow!! I can’t believe how amazing my hair looks! I had let it get pretty scruffy during covid and they transformed it into a gorgeous blonde again! The cut was also way above my expectations for my thick, “Lion mane” hair. They worked with me to make my hair gorgeous and easily manageable. I really like that it felt like a team effort there.

I absolutely love going to The Outer You. They are excellent in everything they do. Angie does a fabulous job with my cut, highlight, & style every six weeks. She is fun & listens to my wishes. My hair always looks polished & professional. Many people ask where I go and end up finding the same excellent service. In between color & cut, I go to Liv for styling. She is amazing! Also, I am always grateful how Casey helps get me in with my tight schedule. This salon is extremely professional. They are consistent, listen to my desires, look at new ideas, and keep me in trend. I wholeheartedly recommend this friendly and inviting salon. You will love it!

I was new client who came in for a balayage. It had been a while since I had gotten my hair done, but they knew that prior to my appointment. As a new customer, before we got started, I was not asked what types of shampoo/products I use on my hair, which is a bit surprising now looking back. After the 3+ hour process, the balayage did not take to my hair at all. The owner then came to my chair and did a test for a wax coating on my hair. Sure enough, it was on there. She even said she could feel it in my hair before doing the test. It would have been nice if they had tested for this beforehand. I was then told that we would have to schedule another appointment to get treatment done and re-do the balayage since my hair color was unchanged. This was fine with me until we discussed payment. The lady who had attempted to do my hair told me that I shouldn’t have to pay until next time. However, she double checked with the owner, and she told me I had to pay $100 due to the product they had used on my hair (I would also have to pay full price for everything at the next appointment). NOTE: My hair color did not change AT ALL. They, the professionals, had failed to ask me, a new client, about the history of my hair and what products I use before starting the process (I had no idea the shampoo I used was actually leaving wax in my hair). I did not argue about paying the money, as I was very disappointed and ready to get on the road for my hour drive back home (yes, I went out of my way to try this salon). The girl who tried to do my hair was very nice, but unfortunately, the insane amount of money I had to pay when my hair was unchanged was a huge red flag to me. I will not be going back in that I’m afraid that if they still can’t get my hair to change, I will still have to pay $100+. After talking with a few other hairdressers, they agree that I should not have had to pay at all. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the gas and money I wasted. $100 down the drain just to leave with the same color hair I had when I came in.

I’ve been to ‘The Outer You’ three times in the last few months and I have only had good experiences. Angie has cut my hair every time, and she was careful to establish exactly what I wanted before she cut my hair. There is no question Angie and the entire establishment are professional and know exactly what they are doing. No question, whatsoever.

I have been going to Angie at The Outer You for a little over a year now, and I am always in love with the results. Angie is great at listening when I want a change and always talks through what she wants to do with my hair. She has taken me from a dark blonde all the way back to bright blonde highlights. All the girls at the salon are welcoming and friendly. Angie works wonders with my hair and is also a artist when it comes to updos! I love coming in and feeling confident that I’m going to leave with my hair looking fabulous!
