I fell in love with Rodney about 7 years ago. He was recommended to me from a Caucasian woman. I swore to her that he wouldn't be able to do my hair (I'm biracial). She swore to me that he could so I took a chance. Sure enough, he is a pro and gave me exactly what I asked and hoped for. I drive 1.5 hours to get to him. Its far for me but I get what I pay for and what I want and look so much better when I leave. I takes him an hour to do everything thats needed to my hair and I'm back on the road. Wish I could clone him and set up shop in Richmond.
My 16 yo daughter loved her cut! Rodney is great and did an excellent job. The establishment is clean and comfortable. As an added bonus, Rodney had my daughter laughing a good portion of the time with his awesome personality.
I thought I posted a review but must not have so here goes. I went in Sept 2019 and will again as soon as this COVID-19 is gone and I live in Maryland. Rodney and his team were able to fit me in as an out-of-towner with a disaster hair cut to repair which he did with excellence. I was mesmerized with the wonderful decorating throughout as well - should be featured in Farmville Magazine and the Farmville Herald. My hair cut and first time ever (for me) highlighting was wonderful and perfect - can't say enough good about this wonderful gem!!
