A Great Escape Spalon

I attended the absolute WORST hair appointment I've ever had here a little over a year ago. Great Escape ruined my hair. I went in with platinum blonde hair and left with it dingy from toner with a dull orange-brown on my roots all over my head. I went in to get a light brown root smudge, and asked my stylist several times if she was sure she could do it and she said yes. She put permanent hair dye on my roots without telling me it was permanent. I left the salon crying my eyes out because it looked so bad, and this hair appointment was pair for as my birthday gift from my mom. I ended up having to go somewhere else and having to spend more money trying to get it fixed. I did not receive a root smudge, I just got dye sloppily placed on my roots. I had random patches of dye all underneath my hair and even in the front around my face. An hour after my appointment at Great Escape, I went to another salon to get the dye removed because root smudges are supposed to be done with demi-permanent dye, which washes out gradually over time. We put Color Oops all over my hair to get the orange out just to find out the color wouldn't lift at all because it was permanent. So, for the next year I dealt with a thick orange stripe around my head until it grew out and I was able to just cut it off. And, I spent well over $600 trying to break through the permanent dye. I never went back for a refund because I'm an introvert and have a hard time telling someone I don't like what they've done. It would have been fixable if the dye wasn't permanent, but my hair was affected for almost an entire year. I'm attaching hair photos from right after it was done, to when the orange stripe was just growing down my hair. Please don't go to this salon and ask for something complicated. I will never, ever go here again. I paid over $100 to have my hair and birthday ruined ..

Mack always does an excellent job with my hair color and cut. The people there are great, making sure you are happy with what ever service you receive.

Great service! They set appointments and they're open on Sundays! The pricing could be seen for the area as a little expensive, but the quality of the service is worth it. They have a points system for regular customers that is a good value.

Heather was absolutely wonderful, she gave me a fresh clean cut I love it!!
