Pottery Barn Kids

I shop at Pottery Barn Kids often as I love the quality of the products. Every time I have been to the store to check out a toy or product they are super friendly and help me out, even order the stuff online for me to pick up at their store so that they get credit for the sale.nThe ladies that work there have told me multiple times to please give them a call and check with them before ordering online and they love to have a relationship with their local clients, they always helpnme get the best deal or a better product than what I was there for.nThis past week I needed a doll stroller and as they asked, I gave them a call to see if they had the one I needed. They had it, but not the color I wanted, I headed to the store with my toddler to see if she liked the color. The toy was in the box so I asked if we could open it to see it. The lady opened it with a bad attitude and if you know anything about toddlers you know attitude when presenting a possible option is important. My little one did not like it so I asked the clerk if we could just order it to the store for us to pick up. The item was not available to be shipped to store and there was like a $15 shipping fee to be shipped to my home. However, the lady helping me was being kind of rude and unhelpful + I swear she did not seem to want to close the sale. I told her I’ll just order it online and she told me to order through the store so they get credit but in a rude way. Honestly, they have such a good team at this store and this particular lady seems like she does not enjoy customer service, let alone working customer service at a store for kids.

Great spot to find high end baby/kids furnishings and room decor

Worst return policy. If you buy a gift they only give you 30 days and do not offer store credit. You are basically stuck with it. It wasn’t even furniture or custom items. Store manager didn’t care.

I love this store the staff are very friendly and helpful and everything in the store is beautiful. A fifth star would be there is it wasn't so expensive. ud83dude09

Great products, great quality. Too bad it takes 30+ minutes to purchase anything. I’m writing this review as I’m standing at the Pottery Barn Kids Short Pump register. I’ve been standing here for 20+ minutes with no acknowledgement. There are probably 4 people present in the entire store, yet I don’t see myself being helped anywhere in the foreseeable future. They make eye contact and ignore me as I stand here with my items on the counter. As someone who works in retail, I am very patient, but this is honestly very poor, slow management. Order online and avoid the poor service. Seriously it’s 8:30pm & the store is practically empty... hello, anyone home?nnUpdate: It’s 9:19pm (store closed) and I am finally being helped. Unfortunately, the employee helping me, Renee, is incredibly rude. Manager is not any better... very condescending. What a shame to have rude employees tarnishing the good Pottery Barn name.
