We have yet to try their breakfast, but the bakery has always been tops! We are from out of town, and celebrate Fat Tuesday and they were the only one we could find with a King cake last minute. They have amazing muffins, the macarons are great, and the kids love their decorative sugar cookies. The selection is large, they have beautiful cakes, and serve coffee. Would recommend!
I moved back after being gone for 8 years. This place was high on my list to go back to, and they did not disappoint. I don't even like French Toast, but after seeing their version on display, I had to try it and loved it! I missed out on the Shrimp and Grits the week before because I went to late. They always have great and unique options in addition to some of their regular options.
Service was extremely quick and food was delicious. Coffee is actually pretty decent which is rare for a breakfast diner kind of place. They have Funky Chicken coffee which is quality coffee.nnWe both got the Greek omelette with potatoes and toast. The omelette was well seasoned although it could use a little spice. Overall, loves my experience there.
I bought two small strudel, some cookies, and a berry scone. The cookies were so dry they crumbled, the strudel didn’t have enough fillers In it to even know it was fruit filled. Not sure if it was cheese on top of it but it was not labeled as such. The scone was a gift and I’m hoping the person that received it found it at least satisfactory. Sadly what a huge waste of money.nSeriously thinking some missed the baking class they signed up for.nI don’t anticipate going back.
Our Daily Bread is awesome! When my original plan for my daughter’s 21st fell through, they made beautiful and delicious custom cupcakes with only two days’ notice. My daughter and her roommates gave them rave reviews! We’ll absolutely use them again!
