What a wonderful gastronomical oasis. The Bad Apple is right at the center of Pembroke, VA.nnDon’t be mislead by the humble farm outdoor scene. We knew we made the right choice to come to this place from the moment we stepped inside.nnThe hostess (Knuckles) was super welcoming and was able to take us to our table immediately despite our arrival 30 minutes ahead of time.nnOur server (Zach) was eager to make great suggestions from the menu. The menu was filled with sophisticated variety of dishes tantalizing our pallets to a great dining experience.nnFrom appetizers and main course to drinks and desserts, the whole evening was beyond phenomenal. Thank you. We sure will be back!!

It’s rare that my husband and I get out for a date night, and this place did not disappoint!!!! We had the scallops and tuna tacos for apps and the filet and seared ahi for dinner, it was amazing - cooked to perfection and plated beautifully ❤ufe0f And for national gin month, I tried the “Bee’s Knees” with local Strange Monkey Gin...three times ud83dude02

Absolutely 5 star... Great food, a really cool atmosphere, and an excellently curated cocktail (and wine/beer) list, all with local sourcing and attention to detail. A real standout in the area!

This place is an Amazing Escape From the normal. The server's here were amazing and the food was perfect. The atmosphere of this restaurant is unlike anything else around the area you have to give this place a chance. If you are planning a great romantic dinner this is where you need to go.

This place is essentially the definition of “hidden gem “ - it’s way off the main road and looks from the outside like many of the barns in the area, then the minute you walk in it’s like walking back in time to an old speakeasy; they really went the extra mile with every single detail, from the beautiful chandeliers to the ironwork around the wheelchair lift. It’s simply and perfectly done themingnnAs for the food, the duck was legitimately the singular best I’ve had in my entire life and the other parts of the meal all ranked solidly as “one of the best I’ve ever had”. Absolutely a must if you can!
