I ordered a cake from Halwa for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was SO delicious! It was a vanilla cake stuffed with fresh fruit and topped with whipped cream, and it was a hit among everyone! Karmen took everything I wanted into account and was so kind and communicative! I highly recommend you order from Halwa (or just go dine-in, as their coffee/pastries are amazing as well!) Thank you again!!

I went here for the first time today and it was wonderful! There were so many drinks to choose from and some really interesting flavors. I ended up getting a fresh pistachio croissant and it was incredible! I can’t wait to go back and try more drinks and bakery items. The cafe is very warm and cozy with a surprising range of seating, indoor and out. Great experience, will be back!

Such a beautiful decoration with comfortable seating. The night lights are so wonderful. Great coffee, smoothie, and desserts!! I am not an avid coffee drinker but it is my go to place when I want some hot coffee in cold weather.nI love their halwa varieties.

Absolutely amazing. This has quickly become my favorite coffee shop in Blacksburg. It is incredibly cozy and has seating open until 9 pm. The coffee is OUTSTANDING. They just released a new line of specialty drinks including my personal favorite, Banana Foster. While the coffee was great the home cooked goods are better. I have had a few items of the selection and all have been fantastic (try the Baklava). The high quality is definitely reflected in the price but, truthfully, it is worth it.nnSuch a great addition to Downtown!

What a fantastic place! There is an incredible variety of food and drink, and the inside is wonderfully cozy. The complimentary rose water is delicious, and there is a lot of space to distance from other customers. The owner is incredibly sweet and a pleasure to talk to, and she keeps the bakery, especially the register, incredibly clean, which I appreciate. I will absolutely be returning, can't recommend this place enough.
