Been tying to pay taxes for last 2 weeks and the payment link is down. Also never the website provided an option to schedule an appointment and no one cared to call , tried twice and no luck. But they just love sending mails that we missed the deadline

I didn’t have to wait on the phone. Had to speak with two people before getting to the right one, but all three were friendly and efficient! I have been living in MA since July 2020 but the RMV here has my address as being in VA on my MA registration (makes no sense) and the MA RMV has wait times of THREE HOURS and you can’t go in person. So I’ve been frustrated but at least VA adjusted my excise tax to reflect only the months I lived there. Don’t even consider registering a car in MA anytime soon... they could hire more people and let them do the job from home but instead they’d rather have people need to take the day off and still not be able to get ahold of anyone. I would like to thank VA and the taxation department here for being SO quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. They resolved that issue fast! Maybe someday I’ll get assistance in my current state with the rest of my issue.... ud83eudd37ud83cudffb‍♀ufe0f Wish everywhere was as fast!

Unfair taxation for military members in this county, especially when it comes to being taxed while deployed. It takes forever for anyone in that department to contact you back; they only respond when they want to. Communication and customer service could be better with this office.

Predatory vehicle tax practices against service members and their spouses. Repetitively attempt to charge for vehicles you no longer own, or vehicles that are legally titled and registered out of state. I have to go through massive disputes every 4-6 months. Horrible.

Lying thieves will not update their system and charge you for vehicles you no longer own despite having called them to correct the error. Better yet, they send it to collections.
