USCIS Virginia - Washington Field Office

It was a very good experience. The front desk is very accommodating, friendly, and polite. Our interview with the USCIS officer was a good experience. He was a nice person, and professional. This USCIS office has a friendly atmosphere. We are truly grateful for the excellent service.

I prefer this venue very much. there is a unique ambiance. The cuisine is tasty. the service is effective and the personel is trained. The pay is honest. deeply recommend.

I have no idea how to get through someone during COVID, I only get automated message, and I need to talk to someone. I never received my biometric appointment and my ticket # is wrong so I can not go online and check my status like they keep asking me. The one time I got through calling the 1-800 # I was asked to write a letter to the Washington field office explaining my situation and I did, but again no letter in mail regarding biometric appointment. I know the USPS is also missing lot of mails past couple of months its a joke, but at least if that is the case I can at least know there is a problem and ask them to resend the letter.

Went to our AOS interview this morning and I have nothing but positive things to say about the people here, especially the IO who did our interview. He was very friendly, funny, professional, and he made us very at ease throughout the process. A true gentleman, I wish more people were like him.

The worst service ever!!! The representative are not helpful. They sent the wrong information for the location and when we arrived would not allow us to interview because of their error Indicated that we had to schedule with the Baltimore office. If you all perform the same duties, why make a person reschedule for your error and wait to go to the Baltimore office. We have been waiting to take a test since February. We all have been very understanding with COVID but apparently the VA office have no sympathy for others. Then they give you a phone number to call and wait for 45 minutes for the representative to get on the phone and hang up!!!!! So frustrating with this entire process!
