Starbucks

Normally I don't think about reviewing but this place is absolutely amazing. The baristas were so friendly and helped me pick out what to get. The four drinks my family and I got all taste amazing. This was such a good experience!!

The Barista, Lora was so sweet and helpful! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and had so much patience with me recommending items while I wasn’t sure what to get. She made our drinks really fast and they taste so good! She put a smile on my face, so I hope this puts a smile on hers! You rock!

I've always been pleased with this location until today. I placed a mobile order for a grande iced mocha with vanilla sweet cream cold foam on top. I didn't see the option to order a pup cup on the app, so we decided to just ask for one once we picked up my mobile order inside. Since I had my puppy in the car with me, my mom offered to go in and pick up the order. What should have easily taken 2-5 minutes turned into a 15-20 minute trip. My mom asked the barista for a pup cup, and they told her no problem. However, the next five people in line, who all ordered fancier drinks, got their orders before our pup cup. None of the baristas asked my mom what she had ordered, as I could see them chatting through the window while my mom stood and waited. Finally, my mom asked if she was going to get the pup cup, and they acted confused and asked her yet again what the order was...literally just a cup of whipped cream. She finally got back to the car with my mobile order and pup cup, only to find that they made my drink incorrectly. I can only guess that it was a white chocolate iced mocha. She went inside once again and told them that the drink was wrong, and they proceeded to argue with her and told her it was a regular iced mocha...I think this picture will prove my point (the incorrect order is on the left, and the actual mocha is on the right). Finally, they re-made the drink, and we were on our way. I've worked in food service, so I understand getting an order wrong, but to serve FIVE other people who ordered after my mom and then argue about the order being wrong is unprofessional and a bit disrespectful.

I love this Starbucks! I have frequented here for years while going to university here, and have spent countless hours inside reading and doing work. It has always been staffed with the most amazing and kind people, and even now, during the Covid pandemic, they are as polite and welcoming as ever.nnThe one downside is that there is no drive-thru available at this location.

I always stop in here for a coffee while in Lynchburg. The service is normally slow but the last time I was there it was ridiculous. There were 2 people in front of me and, without exaggeration, I waited 20 minutes for a cappucino. While observing the workers, I saw where a couple were being trained and were being led around by, I'm guessing, the manager or person in charge. One young man (his first day I heard him say) was making the 3 of our orders. Employees walked back and forth without helping him or seeming to notice the 3 of us waiting for our order. Totally bad business. The new young man was very nice and apologized for the delay, and of course understandable he was having a hard time with no assistance on his first day. The sandwich I'd ordered with the drink had been laying on the counter for 20 minutes and gotten cold by the time I got my drink. On the upside, the coffee was good.
