Will you guys please open back up already! My kids want some of that kit Kat infused ice cream. We dont eat ice cream often and cold stone was the only place worth getting it. Everywhere else is just too normal and not unique enough. I'm pretty sure they sing some corny song if you make them too which the kids like.
I mean, they don’t even try to move at a reasonable pace. Sometimes they even work one-handed. Literally every other ice cream place is three times as fast. I could break into a stranger’s house, enter the kitchen, and prepare a halfway decent chicken cacciatore having never been in that room in my life, and I’d do it faster than these guys can make a like it vanilla.
Staff was extremely slow. They took priority for online orders ignoring the people who were waiting in line for over an hour. There were three people on but only two of them were actually working. Servers were taking their sweet time getting orders ready. The family will not be coming back to this location. Would not recommend.
Ice cream was good, service was slow as death. You should not have to wait an hour to get some ice cream. Granted, this was a Saturday night, and the unfortunate staff looked like they were experiencing drainage problems in the workspace. Still, there were 5 staff working. Not as if there wasn't enough of them to fill the 7 orders in front of me.nnTheir work area was a frantic mess as well. Some corporations seem to be having a hard time adapting to the take out/dine in hybrid. If I were an area manager, I would be training my shift leads about better segregation of work flow, so that dine in doesn't have their experience shafted for the sake of take out.nnJust my two cents.
They need more staff and insanely better training. Waited 45mins in line, and after ordered watched someone who clearly has never eaten ice cream in their life before take so long to make my order it was melted like soup. Kimball's can't open fast enough. Never coming back to this place.
