Bartlett Cemetery

Bartlett Family Cemetery, this has Burials from the 1700s/1800s. This family is one of the original settlers to call this region of the Blackstone Valley home. They were Quakers, they would have attended Elder Ballou Meeting House (Six Principle Baptists) on Elder Ballou Road. The Cook/Cooke, Ballou, Bartlett, Jillson and Cass families were extremely prominent working class families.. most of their hard labors have been lost to time and forgotten in history.. we try and restore respect and honor to these forgotten families who are sometimes are ancestors like these families are mine! Potential beautiful resting place tucked in between 3 houses with care by only one of the neighbors.. the back side has a child's grave stone nearly totally lost to damage and neglect and time and elements 5 feet away from where the backend neighbors keep their ladder and buckets and etc.. just sad in some areas..
