Piano Lessons at Li-San's Piano Studio (Puyallup)

Li-San is so gentle and positive with educating and instructing students on how to play. She is patient with your student if they maybe struggling with a piece. I highly recommend her teaching piano. One other bonus about her studio is if you can’t make a lesson she is very willing to reschedule with you.

I highly recommend Li-SAN’s Piano Studio at Puyallup. She cares about her students’ progress. My kids enjoy being in her class, and they are always ready to learn. My kids have been learning for about a year now, and they’ve excel far from what I expected in such a short period of time. Give her a try and I promise you won’t regret it! You or your kids will learn fast and enjoy learning piano.

My journey with Li-San started with my children taking piano lessons. She was very patient with them, even when my younger son just didn't want to pay attention at all. She recommended he have his own private lessons until he was more comfortable staying focused but that my older son would do well with group lessons. I like how she tailored the experience after getting to know them a bit better. Needless to say, neither of them decided to stick with piano but through their lessons I started practicing on our piano at home. When they decided to stop, I decided to start. I have been taking lessons myself now for about 2 years and have enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would. I am not able to practice as much now that I'm in a master's program and my kids are remotely learning, but Li-San is patient with me every week. She answers all the questions I have in a way that I am able to understand and will show me multiple times how to get the right rhythm when I am stuck. She is very prompt when answering text messages or emails. I enjoy the online format because if I decide to move out of state she can still be my instructor. I would (and have) recommend Li-San to anyone of any age looking to learn the piano.

Li-San is very personable, patient, and flexible when working with her students. I am impressed on how fast my daughter has reached her accomplishments and goals with Li-San's guidance. Li-San has been very adaptable with the current pandemic. She was able to quickly switch from her in- studio lessons to an online format using the current live streaming technologies. My child has been taking lessons with Li-San for almost a year now. I wasn’t sure about how the group lesson approach would work initially but now am glad that we gave a try. Li-San made sure every student had enough time of instruction and time to practice in each lesson. When COVID hit, Li-San adjusted her lessons very quickly. My child has been doing online lessons since March and making great progress.
