Area 51

I love this store for a great selection of mid-century modern furniture. Mostly reproductions or new furniture, but I'm not interested in buying 60-year old furniture anyway. Once I went in and they had a number of 1960's vintage TV's and those were so cool!

extremely poor customer service. went to the store yesterday to check out some sofas. i wish i had gotten down names, but employee a just stared me down as if i was some sort of criminal. employee a, after helping his customers, doesn't even approach me to ask if i needed help, but instead goes and chats with another customer who was already being helped by employee b.nnanyway, i finally got the attention of employee b. his attitude was pretty sub par. he appeared to be quite incompetent and appeared to get a bit irritated when i asked questions. if i am going to invest money in furniture, you better damn believe that i'm going to ask questions.nnfunny thing is that when i went to another furniture store and as i was beginning to share my experience at area 51 with the employee there, she already knew about their horrible customer service.nnso folks, be aware. these idiots may think that they are all that, but obviously they ain't. their customer service sucks.

they have some pretty nice aliens.

I love the furniture that they feature, I've periodically seen things made by Eames. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion and if you have the money.

An over priced furniture store selling modern knockoffs from Eames. The staff is friendly and helpful but beware of extreme pricing.
