Challis Hot Springs

We did this on a whim. Kinda out of the way but such a nice place. The hot pools are incredible. Green grass everywhere. Our site backed up to the river and made some what secluded. Gravel bottoms fenced small and larger changing rooms. We went to explore the rest of the hot springs located in the area.nEven though there were some parties going on it was still extremely quiet.nThe hosts are very friendly and helpful. If you forgot something ask they might one you can borrow. Buy more than you can easily carry they will deliver.nWe wish we had more time there. Will be back.

A lovely private hot spring. There’s two pools, one big one and one small one. The big one is cooler than the smaller one. The bigger pool also has floats. Children must be supervised!nWe didn’t go in the big Pool, the smaller Pool was 106 degrees.nTheir is one shower and several changing rooms. Immaculate and clean!nHighly recommend!

My nine year old daughter really wanted to go swimming with her grandparents while on her spring break and I thought it would be really fun to bring her here because I had great memories as a child going here. My mom called the day before asking if they were open and they said they were from 8-9. We drove an hour and a half and they THEN informed us that kids aren't allowed unless we stay overnight at the campground. What kind of pool doesn't allow children?? Highly disappointed and will not return or recommend to anyone like I use to.

One of my favorite past times from my childhood in Challis. I go back often with the whole family, we always camp in the tent sites. Beautiful scenery, helpful staff, clean clear warm water. All the amenities you need plus great fishing, hiking, and hunting nearby.
