Lovers Donuts Bagels & Coffee

The donuts were okay. The flavorings were unique, but lacking in depth or balance of flavor. Icings were a bit grainy. They are a softer, rather than chewier donut, which makes sense due to the use of the Japanese milk bread (Hokkaido) dough. Some people might really like a softer donut. I like a more traditional,chewier donut which gives a variance of texture in the donut and gives the fillings a bit more structure. But to each their own!

Got an assorted dozen. These are not your usual donuts. They're better! The donuts are so unique and not to mention flavorful! We went later in the day and they still had a good variety left granted they are a newer establishment. All of the filled donuts are to die for! They're not your usual jelly donuts they're quality ud83dudc4cThe donuts are a bit smaller than they appear online and a little pricey but 100% worth it! 10/10 would recommend to all my friends.

Tried Lovers for this first time today. The donuts were very good - nice variety and creative flavors, but my favorite part...the everything bagel. I moved to Lehi 5 years ago and haven’t been able to find a decent bagel since. It was excellent! I’d buy a dozen of these and keep them in my freezer if I could. Well done. And definitely looking forward to coming back.

Okay, so, coffee is good. Donuts are tasty (the s’mores donut was actually one of the best donuts I’ve ever had!) That’s 2 for 3.nThe only reason we weren’t completely satisfied with our trip to Lovers is because of the bagel situation. We went in and purchased 3 bagels, and were planning to eat them there. We sit down with them and come to find out, they are not toasted and no cream cheese on them. Oh, maybe we forgot to ask for them to be toasted with cream cheese...so we ask, and they don’t sell them like that???nYou can only purchase a tub of cream cheese and go home and toast it yourself and put cream cheese on it? That makes sense when you only sell a dozen bagels, but it makes absolutely no sense when someone wants to come in and buy an individual bagel and eat it immediately. So, there was only 3 tubs of cream cheese; 2 strawberry and 1 honey. Which I am not too keen on putting either on a jalapeño bagel...so we literally had to leave, go to the store, purchase plain cream cheese, go home, slice our bagels and throw them in the toaster to put some plain cream cheese on them and eat them. It was so inconvenient when we were looking for a quick breakfast. We love supporting local, but better off going to Einstein’s if you’re looking for breakfast on-the-go.

Guys I'm not even biased, I went there yesterday and got 6 donuts and had eaten 4 of them by the time I got home. The fillings I tried were the creme brulee and the strawberries and cream. They were AMAZING. I also didn't feel sick afterward. These are actually really good donuts.
