Hampton Inn Grand Junction Downtown/Historic Main Street

Wow! We felt safe and clean plus all of the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Walking downtown was delightful and we were able to order pizza to be delivered... A treat! Our room had a microwave and a mini fridge so we were able to bring food and drink. Continental breakfast was really good especially the biscuits and gravy. Yum! To us it was not a big deal to walk next door to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. Reservations were required because of the virus but it was nice to have it to ourselves.

The hotel is very clean and we saw staff wiping high touch surfaces. The breakfast area has plenty of choice and seating spaced apart. They have a parking garage which is great if the weather is wet. The staff made our visit. I mentioned it was my birthday and they had a gift basket in my room later that day. Everyone was friendly and helpful with suggestions.

I am a volunteer at Mesa Co Covid-19 Vaccine clinics. Entering data 3 afternoons a week. Awesome experience. Lots of volunteers are making this process friendly and well organized. MESA COUNTY has the best volunteers!

Everything was fine except I did not appreciate the hidden parking fee. I’ve stayed at several Hampton Ins and none of them had parking fees. That fee should be visible before booking.

I love the bedding here. The breakfast is delicious especially during covid when many hotels are no longer even bothering to try. Today was a cheese omelet and smoked sausage, with a nice variety of cold options to choose from. Great location to easily walk to restaurants and bars. All staff i encounter are always very friendly. Ive stayed here in the past and will continue to stay in the future.
