This active cemetery appears to have become a dumping grounds. While visiting today we found piles of automotive parts, building materials, bags of trash, and trash everywhere. The newer portion of the cemetery seems to be regularly maintained however, the historic location is severely overgrown with greenbriers and small trees. Several of the historic markers that date to the mid-1800s have fallen and are at risk of disappearing forever. I have no idea while this has not been maintained at the same time as the rest of the cemetery.nnThe dirt/gravel road to access the cemetery is steep, rutted, and unmarked. A front-wheel drive will work, but not if the road is wet or icy.
