Went in 2 days ago to pick up some pan to make up for another panaderia place we went to that had a bug in their pan. As we get there we pick out 4 pans from the small selection they had-no prob! I ran to the car to geab some change, grabbed our items and left. My partener told me she had to tell the young lady up front that the sugar free conchas they had on their table were starting to mold. She kinda just smiled, pulled the container of conchas back and said yeahhh we haven't gotten the recipe right (my partner was a bakery manager-it wasn't the recipe they were just old) again, no problem! We get home and as im biting into my cookie I taste just pure stale. My partners cream filled pastry had a salty taste to it. And the mantecada almost had a crunch to it. I tried to power through just thinking it was us. No. What is pictured is what we ended up throwing away. No point in getting 3 dollars back. But we shoulda just walked away when we saw the molded conchas on display right as you opened the door.

It was through a Facebook group that I found out about this Mexican bakery that sells among other things sugar free conchas and apple empanadas. I was skeptical at first as I have purchased sugar free bread before that was not too good. I enjoyed every single bite and hope you make more different types of pastries . I will definitely come back for more and thank you for remembering all of us that can't eat sugar. I wish I could try all of your pan dulce but just take it easy - one at a time.
