went in to change the card that I use to pay monthly bill from as it was stolen and hold was put on my bank account, I wanted to change it to a different card so the bill would be paid as usual with no interruption of service, I had the paper with the info on phone but no pin number, he told me he couldn't help me without it, Really? I will be going back to the Geneva store as they go out of their way to provide excellent service and dont quit until they figure out a way to get the job done

The employees at this facility are not very knowledgeable about apple products. I was interested in an iPhone 12 mini but was told I shouldn’t use the existing lighting cord or USB power adapter that I have for my iPad or old SE phone to charge it overnight because the new phones don’t stop charging when it reaches 100%, unless you use a USB-C cord (like the one that comes with the phone) because it would damage the battery. I found that questionable since the phone doesn’t come with a power adapter but was told it’s how apple does things to make you buy more accessories. Since all my ports are regular USB ports in my house and vehicle I chose the SE phone instead since it used the USB 2.0 lighting cord. I have since looked on the Apple website and found all iPhones, including the iPhone 12, are compatible with the old power adapters without fear of overcharging the battery.nThe other issue I have is I paid an activation fee figuring that my new phone would be ready to go when I left the building but they didn’t transfer my phone correctly. My wallpaper didn’t transfer, my apps were no longer in folders and it looked like every app I ever downloaded was showing up, and my email accounts didn’t show up. My husband got the same new phone and his was updated correctly and when asked why his worked right and mine didn’t, I was told sometimes that happens but mine should change after the software updates since they didn’t update it. I told them I’ve activated phones and iPads when I bought them on line and never had an issue with my wallpaper not coming through. I updated my software at home and it didn’t change anything. Bottom line I had to erase everything and reset the phone to factory settings and update it myself. After I did everything worked as it should. I would recommend using Verizon online associates since they seem to be more knowledgeable based on past experience, to make any upgrades and activate your phone yourself.
