I seen the tanning industry revolutionize over the last couple of centuries since I started going. My colleague Ben Franklin discovered electricity but he did not discover what this establishment offers. To call this facility the state-of-the-art would be an injustice. It is beyond description. Literally no one will walk in for their first time having seen anything like this. They even have a red light room (no not the kind you see in New Orleans which is illegal) where you stand in a booth for 12 minutes and over time from experiencing a number of sessions the wrinkles in your face begin to evaporate. Perhaps I will look young again like I did when I was 79. lol. The manager Angelique is fabulous and the only other employee I know by name is Laura who is outstanding as well. However they all are. This is more of a spa rather than a tanning salon although tanning is their and probably your primary purpose. Therefore be ready to spend more than your typical 15 minutes down the street at San Diego tan (is that it?) . This is time most assuredly well spent.
I am very happy to be a patron of this establishment but the owner/manager REALLY needs to just sit and observe what happens when this place gets busy. The girls become flustered and confused and unable to accommodate customers as they fall over one another. Some suggestions, tell customers where to wait before/between services. Maybe text them when they're service/room is ready even. Leave extra towels in the rooms so girls aren't wasting steps after cleaning beds by running back up front to get towels. Ensure everyone has a role.. keep one/two workers at the computers, one/two cleaning, and one/two showing clients to their room. And don't waste time walking clients to the room if they don't need the assistance. It feels really weird and awkward sometimes! Move retail away from check-in as that process is holding things up. Again, I'm living this place and know things are new, but there is quite a bit if room for improvement in relation to the logistics of it all!
I am new to Glo and after only a couple weeks in, I am in love with this place! Every staff member I've encountered has been very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the products and service they provide. I would definitely recommend Glo Huber Heights!
There are so many options of things to do in this salon. They offer what other tanning places do not. The price is also fair. The girls that work in the salon are super helpful, sweet and on top of everything. They make you feel welcome everytime.
I love their tanning beds and I love the monthly membership which is a great deal for the quality of beds they have and their spray tan machine is amazing as well
