My son has been a student of Bruce's a little over 6 months now. Bruce is a compassionate and experienced instructor that is helping many, like my son, not only improve their skills but develop a deeper love for music and music performance.
I was introduced to Bruce via a friend who had been studying with him for a while. I was looking to see if I could find someone that could help me improve my playing......I really did! Bruce has taken my trumpet playing to another level. His method is proven! It is the Claude Gordon method. Bruce is an excellent teaching as he was taught by one of the greatest trumpet players who ever lived. You will not go wrong studying with Bruce.
When I started studying with Bruce, I could play no higher than D in the staff and no longer than about ten minutes.nnA little over a year later, I had my first gig with a New Orleans Jazz/Funk band, played 10 gigs with them. Over the next year, I was asked to play in three recording sessions with another band and am now the leader of the horn section in a Jazz/Funk band.nnBruce is a great teacher and you’ll be glad you signed up for lessons. I highly recommend Bruce!
Cannot say enough great things about Bruce! He is one of the finest teachers/mentors any student could ask for. I have studied with Bruce for 5 years now and if you are looking for a great teacher who will develop you into a pro-level player, I highly recommend Bruce!
I have studied with Bruce Haag since 2008. If you become his student, you can count on experiencing devotion and adherence to Claude Gordon’s teaching method. And if you follow his lessons plans, you WILL develop the knack of trumpet (brass) playing over time. Bruce gave me the best price on the internet for a new Schilke trumpet, and I’ve ordered books and accessories from him over the years. I am very satisfied with Bruce Haag Brass Studios.
