This is my all-time favorite place to find unique pieces. Jason (the owner) constantly is getting new pieces in, and does a fantastic job of upgrading those pieces that just need some extra love. I could not be more happy with the purchases I’ve made, and am constantly being asked where I get my furniture. His prices are fair, and the condition of his pieces are always pristine. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind piece for your home, check out Recycle Cincinnati. As a bonus, the store’s mascot and furniture tester Forest (dog) is pretty cute :)

This place is the best. Great selection, fair prices, and the owner is a very genuine person. Also a good place to check if you or a family member needs to find a place for furniture they no longer want.

Upon arrival, store sign read “closed” despite store hours on Google. Owner saw me and opened the door but said nothing... I asked if he was open. He said, “I can be.” While looking around, another couple approached, perplexed at the door.nnAs the owner opened the door, the couple nicely informed him his closed sign was out. Rather than a simple “thank you,” he informed the couple that was intentional, and he leaves the closed sign up because he doesn’t just do business with anyone. He works with people who “aren’t too stupid to look past a closed sign and knock to see if the store is actually open. What???? I walked out after hearing that. Egotistical, ungrateful, and condescending to say the least.

Called to schedule an appointment to go see a dresser that was advertised on Craigslist. The first time we spoke he was a little testy with me on the phone but I thought that maybe I was reading too much into it. I told him that we would come the next day around 5:00 (he told me he was open 24/7) unless the weather was bad. We didn’t want to ruin the dresser because it was snowing. I text him at 3:00 the next day to make sure everything was still good and he needed to change the time to 4:30 which I told him that we should be able to make it (we had just sat down to dinner at a restaurant). He said that “should doesn’t work here. Text me when leaving restaurant.” I said will do and that if he was going to be rude he could keep his dresser. He then called me and was absolutely hateful, denied being rude in the text but said that he could run his business any way he chose to. I told him that he could keep his dresser. I’ll never darken the doorstep of his store and if you want nice, friendly service then you shouldn’t either. Too bad it looks like he has really nice things in his store on his website.
