I had some cushions from an old sofa outfitted with new, very firm foam. After ordering the foam, I dropped off the cushions and they had the work done in just a few hours. She was concerned I wouldn’t have a place to sit! They did a great job at a fair price, couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!
Melanie is a hoot! She does good work inexpensively. Definitely worth using her shop for new cushions, etc.
I just visited Melanie's Upholstery in Clintonville. I was in the neighborhood and saw the shop. My conversation with the owner was very pleasant. The work appeared to be good quality. The price for services was excellent. I will wait for my reupholstering to be completed before final comments.
Did a nice job of helping me choose fabric and then re-creating a cushion for a mid-century modern chair. Workshop atmosphere; would not call it dirty. Very friendly.
