Fate Cakes

We ordered a Paw Patrol cake for my sons birthday. We also ordered cookies which were amazingly decorated. This cake though....the icing was fantastic. Not waxy and not super thick. It was fluffy and amazing. I am so picky when it comes to icing. I totally blew all of mynweight watchers points but well worth it. We will certainly order again.

This was the first birthday my daughter was away, she's at Ohio State. Fate Cakes were so easy to work with. The cake was delivered to my daughter's dorm right on time and looking exactly like the picture that I had sent her to copy. The good thing is it tasted as delicious as it looked! I highly recommend Fate Cakes

Yesterday was my first time in Fate Cakes and also my last. Like anyone, with it being my first time I had a few questions.nI asked the lady if they made birthday cakes, she told me no, that they have cookies decorated like cakes and there are a couple of toppers for it. I asked about the flavor of the slices of cake and her response was just dry.nnI get that people have bad days so I just told myself that's the reason for the horrible customer service, dry responses and lies about if they make birthday cakes. I still decided to try a chocolate chip cookie and a brookie.nnAfter handing the lady my money, I asked if she's the owner, she told me no. Then I asked myself; why would I want to spend my money, no matter the amount, in an establishment that treats people like this.nnI told her that I decided that I didn't want anything. She gave me back my money and I left. I pulled Fate Cakes back up and I called to see if the owner was available. Instead, it was the same lady that didn't really help me, that answered the phone. She said she was the manager. I told her that I felt her customer service was unpleasant and that she wasn't at all helpful. Her disposition was still repulsive.nI read the reviews listed here and I don't understand why I didn't receive 5 star service, as everyone else. I've tried telling myself that it isn't because of my ethnicity but at this point, I'm actually sure that my race played a part. If not, then I wonder; what's the reason behind such terrible treatment.

I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful experience you brought to our family. I sent over a picture of what I wanted and you nailed it!!! On top of that, the cake was absolutely tasty!!! Customer service was awesome too - you were very responsive, even at odd times of the day/night! Thank you again!

I requested for a quote on a birthday cake for my daughter but they never responded. I then sent a follow up message and still received no response. I completely understand if they did not have the the time to make it because of prior engagements, however, they could have took time to respond to me to let me know. I will never consider them in the future for my baking needs. Thankfully, not all bakeries in the Columbus area think so little of potential customers and I am completely excited to see the product of the bakery that wanted my business!!nResponsiveness: F-nCustomer Service: F-
