My grandfather died April 6 2017 and was cremated. Some of his ashes were donated to science and the rest was given to family members. My mom and I have been coming here every year on Father's day, April 6 the day he died and August 9th his birthday. I carry his ashes in this Keychain heart where ever I go.

FOLLOW UP 8/26/20 - Caretakers/Managers are especially helpful. Thanks for your advice and kindness!nnI haven't been here in 60 years. My grandparents are buried here. William and Gladys. He was Chief of Upper Arlington Fire Department and the hardest working man I ever knew. There's never been a hipper Grandma on Earth, and she was my rock.nnI'm glad they're here. It's the most beautiful, peaceful, and well kept cemetery I've even seen. Which should suit him. His yard and gardens were impeccable.nnI love how the landscaping creates . . . I don't know . . . like small private areas. Most cemeteries are just wide open spaces. When you're visiting a gravesite, it's like you're in your own private space. More peaceful. Less overwhelming.nnAlso, since a lot of people just like old cemeteries, I don't think I've ever seen more inventiveness and variety in headstones. Really interesting. Quite a few famous people, too - Woody Hayes, Dave Thomas, and others

It’s not the most lively place in the world but it is a great place for a date.

Many of my family, since the creation of the cemetery, have been interred here, and the staff has always been kind and accommodating

I want to let the world know that the union cemetery employees are wonderful and truly a God sent. The funeral home dropped the ball on the cemetery arrangements, so I went to the site personally and talked to the cemetery coordinators. They were able to accommodate a funeral for my dad on a Saturday even though they were booked and was able to get a plot next to his mother and brother. I am so happy, pleased and grateful for everything. Thank you and God bless
