Big Sandy Superstore

Shopped at Lancaster Big Sandy store on 01/03/2021 for Speed Queen washer,William was our salesman,and was very cordial overall.Only washer they had was floor model and it was months before one would be available for some reason,I asked if floor model was avail.for purchase and Will said he had to run it by his manager(ole used car trick)manager said it was okay,but there would be no discounts,even though nobody knew how long washer had been on floor display,or HX of misc. parts and pieces(which we didn’t even realize until we got home what pieces were missing)Called Big Sandy to get a hold of William and co-worker stated he was with customer and would call backnWhen done,no call back as of yet.But the biggest thing was it seemed like that Big sandy approach was like they were doing me a favor in selling me a 1,000.00 washer and not even considering knocking off anything on the price of a floor model with stuff missing.I know America has changed drastically in the last couple of decades,but it continues to amaze me how customer service has went to the wayside and how the customer should feel blessed on giving your store 1k for a floor model washing machine at full in the box price and that’s just the way it is,take or leave it,just me thinking outside the box,thanks Jim.2/12/21 update I’ve been to the store several times since purchase and voiced my complaints about parts I should have received and have still not received a call for the brace or plug for my washer.I called speed queen and they stated they were never contacted by Big Sandy to get parts,which would have been very easy on their part to do and solve problem.I have recently realized that Good Housekeeping on E.Main also carries Speed Queen products and I beg of you to take your business there because they know what customer service is all about,and actually have a clue on what they are selling.Thanks Jim

Matt was a very good salesman. Very helpful and not too pushy. Gave us the space we needed to make our decision.nnWill waited on us today to buy a washer and a dryer. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and didn’t try to pressure us. I would go back to Big Sandy again.

This was the fifth store we had been to that day after not finding what we wanted or needed for our living room. Devon, our sales person was extremely helpful and listened to our wants in a new living room set. We found want we wanted and it was a very stress free purchase!!! We will be back!!

I enjoyed coming into the store and not getting followed around by a salesperson. Ladonna came up and introduced herself and said if I need assistance that she could help. I went in to just check prices, well I walked out purchasing a beautiful couch that has everything I wanted on options for a reclining one. I would recommend.
