Update: My husband and I just went back to Fortunoff to buy another seating/dining set for the lanai in our condo. Once again, we were very happy with our shopping experience at the Backyard Store in Nanuet!nNader and Sherif spent a great deal of time helping us to explore different possibilities for our relatively small space. At no time did we feel rushed or uncomfortable, even as we moved furniture around and switched out the pillows, etc. Nader & Sherif were very patient and it was a pleasure to work with them. I would absolutely recommend Fortunoff to anyone looking to purchase quality outdoor furniture with lots of options.nnThe following review was from 2019:nGreat experience shopping at Fortunoff BYS in Nanuet! Their showroom has a really good variety of outdoor furniture and coordinating cushions. Our salesperson (Renee) and her manager (Nader) couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and helpful; they spent plenty of time with us as we chose our new dining set and seating group. It was really refreshing to work with Renee and Nader as they were never pushy and followed through via phone to answer all of our questions. We love our new furniture and appreciate the great service that we received throughout the whole process!
I just purchased a home and went into Fortunoff to see about backyard furniture. I found their furniture to be very nice. But I found the employees to be even nicer. I can’t remember the name of the young man that helped me the first time that I went, but he was very helpful. When I went back, Roberta helped me and got me what I needed in a timely matter and I was very happy with her service. Good job guys. ud83dudc4dud83cudffe
Excellent customer service 5 stars!
The store had a few customers and I did arrive around 5pm the day before the 4th of July. One worker did acknowledge me and I sensed they all had their hands full with others so I browsed on my own. The gentleman that helped me seemed to be the manager or higher in rank than the others because he was delegating tasks. I gave this store a three because though the manager tried to help me and others at the same time, I did not feel I received the level of attention I should have received given a large price tag. I bought the set because I really liked it not because of the service that was provided. For example, I mentioned wanting an umbrella with a base I changed my mind about the umbrella but the person who helped me forgot to add the vase onto my order. He did call me after leaving the store, but by then I had decided against it. Maybe hiring more staff members might be a better option for them. I was patient but felt like I had to be because he was trying to assist everyone.
