Relax & Wax

I booked a Brazilian wax online and made a note to specifically leave a landing strip. When I came in for my appointment, we discussed leaving a landing strip.nnThe wax was fine—painful, which is to be expected, but she did a good job of removing the hair. Actually, she did too good of a job removing the hair because she didn’t leave the landing strip.nnSo for the next month or so I have to walk around looking like a child down there because I was waxed completely bald, when we literally discussed leaving a landing strip not even five minutes earlier.nnIt doesn’t sound like a big deal, but just as I and most others make conscious efforts to style the hair on my head a certain way, I’m also very particular about how I keep my body hair. I’ve had a landing strip for over ten years and my hair grows slowly; I’m pretty upset with the results and the final look and I don’t feel very confident—which was the entire point of booking the waxing session in the first place?nnShe also essentially just laughed it off when I expressed I was not pleased, and I think she could have handled it better.nnSo, if you want to be completely hairless then perhaps this is an experience worth looking into, but ladies with landing strips BEWARE.
