Monroes Restaurant

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food has always been great, and the staff has always been friendly and accommodating. But.... what happened to the prices? $32 for a chicken dish? That's completely unreasonable for Rochester. Maybe if this was NYC. I won't be able to go back until they bring the pricing back to normal.

Update: went to dinner with my girlfriend's the other night and was very disappointed to see they have raised there prices by $10 a plate! Brussels sprouts appetizer- $14, chicken french-$34!!! The walnut crusted chicken (also $34) is no longer crusted with walnuts but instead the same chicken cutlet used for their chicken parmesan with whole walnuts now in the sauce. Really lowers the wow factor for me. What used to be my go to place for a solid night out has slid way down my list.nnOriginal review (5 stars): One of my favorite places by far. Everything we've ever ordered from here has been delicious. Their service is always great as well. The French sauce is to die for and the walnut crusted chicken is out of this world.

Food was great. However, they kept us waiting for our food for over two hours. Didn’t come give us an update or anything. We got here at 7 and food didn’t come until after 9. And the food was very expensive for what we got. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a rush or have places to be

It was amazing. Had our daughter's wedding dinner there. They accommodated us in a little section off in the back, very intimate and private! Manager, and wait staff ( Sarah) were awesome!
