Silver Essence Floating Spa

Super nice folks and very clean. Floating wasn't really for me (I made it about 25 minutes through my hour float from a gift certificate) but the staff went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied and offered to make up the difference with sauna credits - that's very much appreciated!

I love this place!! The owner is such a wonderful person, possibly the nicest person I’ve ever met. The hospitality I experienced was the top of the line. Their customer service was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and all my questions were answered clearly when asked. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Today was my first time floating anywhere. While I’ll likely try it again, I won’t go back to Silver Essence. The facility was nice and clean. The tub did work. That said the float room itself was cold and I kept hearing people walking around outside even with the ear plugs. Also, once your eyes adjust you can see light coming in from around the door. The session ends when the owner turns on the lights in the room full power after you’ve adjusted to more or less darkness for an hour. It’s very jarring. I walked out and asked for my receipt, however the owner was on a personal phone call and couldn’t take the time to sort it out. For a newbie, the whole experience felt like “thanks for your money, now get out”nnNote the owner told me she bought the business a few months ago. I wish I knew that ahead of time as it would give me a timeframe for the positive reviews.

If you have never tried a float, you really should. The 30-minute infrared sauna followed by a 60-minute float is the ultimate in relaxation. I've been a member for months, and go whenever I can. My husband kept telling me how much more relaxed I looked afterward, I convinced him to try it. He's hooked now!
