Wolter's Bakery

Just finished the last Mexican wedding cake Christmas cookie! They were so delicious! I get them every year. I wish Wolter's made them year round but then they might not be so special. Everything I have purchased here has been extremely good! Love this bakery ❤

I've had nothing but wonderful interactions with Wolter's. My stepdaughter is vegan and Wendi experimented and created a truly delicious challah loaf that was Vegan so that we could all celebrate Shabbat together. Plus, best fingerprint cookies EVER

Stop in here after hubby and I went out to grab a bite to eat and thought that a big home little desert or any sweet for that matter would be a plus. We thought that we would grab a 1/2 dozen donuts and mind you this was late in the afternoon so a lot of the donuts were already gone plus its paczki day here in WNY so that's the highlight of all bakeries. We grabbed our donuts and of course a couple of paczki's, we've had their donuts previously and I've always enjoyed them. The chocolate frosted cream filled are delicious. They are not filled with that crazy sweet filling that is normally accompanied by the usual chocolate frosted donuts you get elsewhere. Plus I seen a blueberry Danish, yes I said blueberry. I've always seen cherry, apple and pineapple. The norm. But I was kind intrigued so we got a few Danish of different kinds (the normal) and of course had to add that famous blueberry one. Now it doesn't matter where you go a Danish is a danish and they all taste the same, right? Nay nay, I stand corrected. The Danish was very good and the blueberry one well let's just say it was awesome. I unfortunately do not live close by this bakery but I will make it a point of stopping in here each and every time I'm out that way! Place was clean and the girls behind the counter were pleasant and made you feel welcome. Good job Wolters Bakery, keep up the great work!!

Wolter's has SO much to love about it. Like all bakeries, there will be some stuff you adore and others might not be for you.nnWhat we LOVE:n- kind and warm employeesn- FANTASTIC challah breads! Not as eggy as most traditional challot, and a tad sweeter.. very nommy! And round during Rosh Hashanah!n- accommodating: when asked if they could make a vegan challah, the owner embraced the challenge and created a *great* recipe! Still only a special-order item, I think in many ways it is more nommy than the regular ones!n- community: they have been generous in the past with fundraising efforts.. so lovely!nnWhat I look forward to: an occasional napoleon (layered pastry with custard or cream filling and frosted and chocolate top) .. although I think the hard frosted top takes away from the experience (when cutting it the entire thing falls apart since it is so rigid), it's still a real treat ud83eudd17

Wonderful bakery. The almonds rings are fabulous. I like to purchase items to take to family get togethers and everyone enjoys what I pick up.
