Mack's Moving Company

The company was very great to work with. The estimate that they originally estimated us for a 3 hour move at first was less then what we wound up paying at the end I thing they might quote you a little higher estimate then you really pay when everything is done just for them to be on the safe side the 3 men that moved our whole apartment of 10 years worth of stuff did it in the 3 hour time limit we kept them on for 45 more mins to put stuff back together and it was still less then what they originally quoted us. The whole company from receptionists to owners to movers were very helpful and so nice the 3 movers that moved everything for my Husband nephew and me did a great job very careful with everything and were very fast paced. I would definitely recommend Macks Moving Company to anyone who has to move no matter what kind of move you are doing. I hired them to help my elderly friend move. They never gave us a bill of lading, which is the contract that is legally required when a company moves items. They broke a table and a queen bed frame, and shattered an expensive armoire mirror, then told us they would only give us $40 to fix all three of these items. I asked the owner politely to fix just the mirror, and he told me if I wanted it fixed, then he would see me in court. I then began court proceedings and asked him for the bill of lading that he was legally required to give us but did not, because the judge would need to see it, and he immediately changed his tactic and told me that he would pay to have the mirror fixed if I deleted my negative review of his company. I received no apology from the company, and he only backed down from bullying me because he realized that he was legally liable for a lot more than just the mirror - if I had reported his company for not creating a bill of lading, he would have had to deal with a lot of trouble. He did pay to have the mirror fixed, but when the movers brought it back the entire mirror was wobbly and they left it that way. To this day, my elderly friend is very careful around her armoire because every time she opens the drawers, the mirror shakes as if it is going to fall down. I would warn everyone to be aware that if the movers break something, which is very likely, the owner of the company will try to bully you relentlessly until you give up on getting your items fixed.nnI also recommend you take notice that anytime this company receives a low review with a complaint, they turn it around and blame it all on the customer in their reply instead of taking responsibility for what happened. Just an indication of how they will respond if you have a complaint with your service.

Mack's moving company was great. They moved anything from my old place into storage. When I was ready to place to my new place moved everything in carefully, unpacked and set-up all my furniture. I recommend using Mack's Moving Company if you have a move coming up.

Absolutely great! Showed up on time, were very professional and courteous, packed our items with care, went above and beyond! Best decision I made when moving our family was to hire movers and Mack’s exceeded our expectations! The entire crew was great to deal with and we appreciate all their hard work- we know it was a long day.
