I recently did an out of state move from NJ to TX and Uri and UMEX did a fantastic job. From my first call to Uri, it felt like he is the right person do the job. He gave me a quote over the phone and also gave an estimate in-person as well. If I had to define Uri and UMEX in three words: Professionalism, Integrity and Quality. They did an outstanding job of packing and loading in a short amount of time. This move was during the snowstorm in Texas and Uri did an excellent job of updating the whereabouts. I wish I had hired him in my other in-state moves but I am glad he helped me in out-of-state move. I highly recommend Uri and UMEX to anyone looking for a quality move.

Outstanding service! We engaged UMEX for two recent moves - one local and the other out of state. Mari was highly responsive in handling our unique needs. Pricing was fair, making the reservation was easy, the crew (led by Lupe) was very professional, arriving on-time, left our premises spotless and handled our items as each was a priceless antique. I hired Uri and UMEX for a move several months ago and it was an amazing experience. Bottom-line-up-front: his team are true moving professionals, not just hired muscle. He & his team exceeded my expectations, which were already very high. With a difficult property (steep hill), high end furniture, & a negative prior experience with a different moving company, I was very anxious about finding a great moving company for our latest move. After much research I found UMEX. After initially discussing the job and outlining my concerns, Uri came to my home for a site visit so that he could properly quote the job & assemble the right team & equipment. I could speak for hours about everything they did great, but here are a few things that really stuck out. (1.) he brought a large team, 8 people, so there was adequate manpower to handle my heavy furniture and difficult property (2.) Secret Weapon: Amanda - she is Uri's 2nd in command, so having both her & Uri on the job simultaneously was a huge help, allowing for a great degree of supervision & coordination. She also was in the thick of the action throughout the move (3.) given my high-end furniture & bad experience with prior movers Uri put my mind at ease when he started the move off with a team meeting where he noted the importance of doing the job carefully & right, not for speed. To my amazement when we got to my new property with the trucks loaded Uri held a second team meeting, reiterating to his team the need to do the job carefully & well. In addition, all packaging was included in the price of his quote (everything was extremely well packaged) & he brought two trucks so nothing would need to be stacked. (4.) at my new house during the unpacking Uri & his team were beyond professional, placing the furniture exactly where I wanted & patiently helped me to level each piece (which took time given my uneven floors)nnOne additional note: I opted for the insurance for peace of mind. In the end due to their exceptional work it wasn't needed at all. What I did like however was that before the move Uri & Amanda went over literally every inch of each piece of furniture, noting existing flaws. It was at this time that Uri's expertise on furniture came to light & given the opportunity (if he ever has the time) I would hire him to fix the pre-existing issues that he found.

I am so happy that we found Umex moving. I have moved a few times within the past few years and Umex has by far had the best customer service, along with the most competitive pricing.nnCommunication with Uri & Mari was always pleasant and they were extremely straightforward with their pricing. We unfortunately had to move right at the beginning of Covid-19 and they were extremely flexible with rescheduling.nnThe team of movers who did our move (two gentleman), were also very efficient. None of our items were damaged and they packaged and reassembled everything for us (which was also in the price). I hope that our next move will be final, but regardless I will definitely reach out to Umex for any future moves and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company with excellent prices and service.nnThanks for everything and stay healthy!

From the moment of my first phone call inquiry to Uri for an estimate, until the final box was unpacked, our out-of-state move was perfect! Uri was fantastic in his timely responses to my questions and in his pricing. He even advised me when I over-estimated the size of our storage unit. On the day of the move, two trucks were sent with a very professional, friendly team, with Patrick, the foreperson, and his great team of Lupe, Nugo, Alex and Gabe! They did a wonderful and efficient job of moving the storage unit items, then moving our home items and transporting and unpacking everything in our new home. It was a long day and a long travel, but they were absolutely the best! I thank, Uri, and his entire team for the great job they did on what is expected to be a stressful day.
