NJ Bagpiper (Michael Hannigan)

Michael played for a family birthday party today and did an amazing job! The children were super inquisitive and he had no problem answering their questions and teaching them how the bagpipes work. Thank you for a unique birthday party experience! Everyone of all ages (7 months - 72 years old) enjoyed listening to you play!

Such an awesome show he put on for our kids. He even took the time to explain to them and show how the bagpipes work. It was truly a wonderful experience! Highly recommend him for any occasion.

Mike came to our house to play for our family as we gathered for our son’s 6th birthday and my father’s 67th birthday because we weren’t able to celebrate last year. He is such a great person and we truly appreciated his time and efforts in making our day such a special one! He is so talented and even took the time explaining to the kids how the bag pipes work and the different parts of his uniform. They were so curious and really into it. Thank you NJBagpiper for your beautiful songs, there is nothing like the sound of a bagpipe to brighten up your day and mood!

I would like to thank Michael for having patients with us during these are trying times with the COVID-19 virus. my daughter was supposed to get married in May it was moved till August and then moved again in OctobernThe October date went off without a hitch it was such a beautiful ceremony except for one thing, which was a beautiful stormy day ! Michael stood out in the rain like a trooper and played his heart out in full uniform and if you don’t know that kilt gets very heavy when it’s wet . I will recommend Michael to anyone who ever asks me for bagpiper ! him and his wife are wonderful people ! I had the pleasure of having Michael play the pipes at our wedding this past weekend. He exceeded my expectations and all of our guests said his playing was the highlight of the ceremony. The weather was below freezing on our January wedding day and Michael triumphantly played both outdoors and in despite the freezing cold. One thing I really appreciated was how often he reached out to me leading up to the ceremony and I felt like we were on exactly the same page as far as what I wanted. If I could do it all again I would still choose him to be our bagpipe player. 10/10!
