I had a fantastic facial this week at Lunar with Emily, the owner. She did a fantastic job! I have sensitive skin, so she was mindful of her product selections. I left glowing and I was a little red then extra day but no more than a kiss from the sun. My skin feels great and I look forward to visiting again.nnBe mindful of the area if you aren't familiar with Downtown and OTR. There are people that can hang around outside and are loud but harmless and didn't say anything to me walking by.
Emily offers amazing facials and her space is the absolute cutest to relax in! She’s personable, answers any questions I may have, and makes sure I’m comfortable throughout my appointment. Her techniques are result driven, which I love, & she truly goes above and beyond to figure out what it is that my skin needs. Highly recommend seeing her!
Emily is a wonderful esthetician! She knows exactly what is best for your skin and is always customizing the experience depending on your needs that day. I really appreciate her transparency and expertise! I love our chats but she is also super great at knowing when I just want to relax and not talk. 10/10 recommend!
Emily knows what she’s doing! It’s a great minimalist space and her focus is clear. My skin has never been so soft. Emily does a great job customizing facials to your skin and creates a luxurious experience. Well worth the self-care investment. Also of importance in a salon type environment, Emily is easy to talk to and super positive.
Had my first of what will be very regular facials at Lunar Beauty Bar recently and WOW! I am in the middle of some serious breakouts (thanks, masks) and Emily focused on reducing redness and inflammation as well as using some anti-aging goodness with high-quality products. I felt relaxed and very happy after, and upon waking up this morning noticed my redness was significantly less.nnEmily is so sweet and knowledgeable and I highly recommend Lunar Beauty Bar to anyone looking to truly take care of their skin, as well as treat themselves to a little relaxation!
