The older women behind the counter would not let me purchase a bag of saltwater taffy. I like to pick different flavors and she stated I could only buy 13 pieces. The sign said price per 1/2 lb. She was very rude.

Rude!.. stale candy...go elsewhere.nnThis is the last candy store left at the NJ shore. Or at least the staff acts like it is.nnNo sense going into detail, but the person behind the counter was more interested in rushing you out, then having you stay to buy overpriced stale candy.

Was spending over $40 in this store and was reprimanded by the clerk behind the counter for having 4 salt water taffy over the 1/4 lb. I asked what she was speaking about and she said I could not buy more than 1/4 lb. I went back over to the bin looking for a sign saying there was no sign. I asked where the sign was I was informed no sign cannot buy more!!! I frequent Cape May about 6-7 times a year and I will never enter this store again. I am so sorry I did not just walk out and not purchase anything!! Horrible customer service if you sell 1/2 lb and 1 lb boxes why could you not buy any amount you choose??? ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21
