Lovely visit this morning to our favorite breakfast Cafe in Portsmouth, NH...Popovers! Once again, we were in heaven with excellent service, ambience, cleanliness and of course the world's best Popovers served warm with smooth sweet cream butter, washed down by a tasty mimosa. Today is going to be a great day in no small measure due to this wonderful start!!

Their namesake popover is nothing short of mystical. It's beautiful. It's perfect. It's delicious. Special callout to Joanna Knapp, who's popovers forever changed my life.
They are a wonderful little cafe/bakery. Sandwiches are all excellent, the bread they use is divine. Focaccia always perfect. Coffee good, the seasons are kind here, inside warm and cozy now in winter, outside lovely in the air in the warmer weather.
