While I do not blame the people at Kerntz I had a terrible experience with the whirlpool electric range that I purchased less than 2 years ago. I would guess less than 20 hours of use on that range as it is a seasonal cabin. Electronic control board failure and the replacement part was 350 to 400 dollars. I would recommend that you avoid whirlpool as they appear to put profit over reliability at that company. Again, not Kerntz fault but I will never buy whirlpool again. Bad performance from a whirlpool duet front load washer with cheap plastic control board mounts also. Just say no to whirlpool.
