Krown bakery is my go to place for a Saturday morning treat, especially their lavender cookies. The pastries, desserts and sandwiches are all top notch. The owners' genuine delight in their work and the staff's friendly service makes each visit great. Krown never disappoints!
Normally, when you stumble upon a bakery, and you take a chance buying a few things you understand that it will be an adventure. However, buying goods from Krown Bakery was like coming home. We only bought sweet goods from the front and EVERY item was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was soggy, dry, or old. (Call me crazy, but I generally expect that from any bakery after 1pm.) We will come back often. And we look forward to trying the lunch foods! BRAVO
The lunch special I had today was the best $12 I've ever spent. There were moments during my slalom to the bottom of that piping hot goulash and impossibly steamy grilled cheese sandwich where time seemed to actually stand still. Voices carrying on nearby reduced to a slow murmer, their usual sharpness usurped by that which the undulating strings of gooey, smoked cheddar cheese imparted.nTake me back to that oasis of pure bliss and remind me why I have taste buds once again.
Amazing hidden gem. Gluten free and all natural! My kiddo with allergies hasn't had a pastry in years - and they are so awesome! Thanks for the great experience!
So many delicious things! Everything is made with real ingredients and great care. Desserts, pastries, breads, sandwiches - you really can't go wrong. I especially love their danishes (only on Saturdays) and a fresh loaf of sourdough. A real gem here in Anoka.
