DO NOT WORK FOR THIS SCUM COMPANY! I RECRUITED FOR PTL FOR A YEAR. THEIR ONLY GOAL IS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LAST CHANCE DRIVERS AND SPIT YOU OUT BEFORE ANY BENEFITS KICK IN!nnAs a recruiter, you’re better off being a processor. Essentially, paid the same with double the responsibility. PTL recruiting just adds extra stress with unreasonable goals, there’s no benefit in becoming a recruiter over a processor. Even if you hit these goals, which is highly, highly unlikely, you’re compensation is something out of a comedy skit. You are given a gift card to Walmart lol.nnAfter you stress about bringing in 10 new drivers per week (a completely unreasonable minimum to get a gift card), you’re recruiting bonus is based on drivers completing training phases that you have no control over. You’re recruiting bonus is literally based on fleet managers (or part time college kids at night) getting your drivers enough miles to stick around for 7 weeks of training. Even if you’re driver is naive enough to stick around for the full training program, your recruiting bonus comes to a grand total of $35 lol!nnPTL is willing to shell out $1000s to provide transportation for drivers, who won’t work one day for PTL, because they come to orientation and fail a drug test. The reward for the recruiter working their tail off to get the driver to not listen to every other driver telling them not to come to PTL? A slap right in the face by management, with a $35 bonus ($10 after your driver has completed 3 weeks of training, and $25 after your driver has completed 7 weeks of training). Again, this is completely based on the fleet managers getting them through the training program, you have no control of anything past getting them to orientation.nnOn top of everything, you won’t see a penny of that little bonus for 3 months. They are 3 months behind on recruiting bonuses! You will get no report on how your bonus was paid out. I honestly think they just make up a number somewhere around the processor bonus for the month (funny thing about that is...processing bonuses are based on just getting drivers to orientation, nothing more...the exact way recruiting bonuses should be paid out).nnFurthermore, you are asked not to speak to anyone about your recruiting bonuses, like it’s some big secret that your getting incentives for a recruiting job? The reason being, they want as little collaboration as possible between the recruiters on how little they are paid. They want to make it as much of a gray area as possible, to pay a little as possible. What a recruiting model! If you ask management about incentives, all you will get are vague answers, with the intent to push you off, until you get back to the 100 cold calls a day, or until you get fed up and leave. Then, they can repeat with the next guy! You can imagine the turnover rate.nnI was at the top of the pack for orientation numbers every month, and my recruiting bonuses rarely exceeded $150 a month! (processor bonuses often exceeded recruiting bonuses) Solely, because drivers would see what kind of company PTL is during the training program, and then decide to quit. But don’t worry, PTL will buy them a $200 bus ticket to get them home (because they sure aren’t paying the recruiters!).nnMaybe 20% (and I emphasize MAYBE 20%) of the drivers that you bring into orientation (the only part of the whole process that you actually have control of) will make it through the full training program. That’s how you get your measly $35 bonus. You can do the math. You’d be lucky to make 30,000 in a year before taxes, including your bonuses! Essentially, you will make 25 cents more an hour than a processor, and double the responsibilty. Good luck!nnYou are honestly better off using that Walmart gift card to buy some dickies to apply at Walmart. You’d make more money.nnRésumé builder job at best. No room for a advancement, believe me, management doesn’t want you to stick around too long. They don’t want give up that “100% employee owned” stock.nSent from my iPhone

This company promises a minimum of $900 per week to start, but on the first day of orientation, you find out that you'll be lucky to make $400. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I work for this company and when I tell you this is the worst trucking company I have ever seen or been with. I was an owner op and every week something was wrong with my pay. They told me it would be a guarantee amount I will make if I stay out and I did but I didn't receive the pay, so when I told him that was a problem they held my check and told me I had to get back on the road to get it back. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time. This company will put you in a hole that your family will have a very hard time getting out of.

This has to be one of the cheapest and worst companies to drive for. They put you in a rundown motel and double book the room. I had to put the dispatcher in check because she thought that she could talk to me any kind of way. The recruiter tell you on the phone what your pay will be. But when you get to orientation, it's a whole different pay. Drivers don't waste your time!

Was stabbed in the back by a trainer who twisted what I said & got me kicked out (who also had a broken window stuck up and insisted on having the cab lights on while I was trying to back in the dark for the first time ever), was lied to and insulted over how I did on initial road test, and was screwed out of my orientation pay.nnWouldn't recommend at all. Go to Swift or CR England before here if this is how they treat even some people.
